City Releases 2014 Annual Report
June 15, 2015
The City of Courtenay has released its 2014 Annual Report with details on municipal activities throughout the year, as well as the audited financial statements.
“Local governments are responsible for a wide variety of essential services and legislative requirements, as well as important quality of life services.” said Mayor Larry Jangula. “The Annual Report doesn’t cover everything the City worked on in 2014, but it’s an opportunity to highlight many of our important priorities and activities.”
Annual Reports are required by the Province of B.C.’s Community Charter.
The report will be reviewed and adopted by City Council at the Committee of the Whole meeting on June 29. Council will also consider any submissions from the public at the meeting.
Hard copies of the report are also available at City Hall.
