City of Courtenay Bursary
Attention Students: You may be eligible for a bursary from the City of Courtenay!
The youth of the Comox Valley have unlimited potential and the City would like to recognize it.
Bursary details
- Bursaries are for graduating students in grade 12 attending one of the following schools: Glacier View Secondary, Georges P. Vanier Secondary, Mark R. Isfeld Secondary, Nala’atsi Alternate School, Navigate (NIDES), and Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy
- Students should demonstrate community involvement, volunteerism, successful academic standing and positive work habits
- Open to City of Courtenay residents only
- Students who demonstrate financial need will be given priority

How to claim a bursary
Bursaries are paid out by the City of Courtenay to the recipients upon proof of registration of full time enrollment to an accredited “post-secondary” institution (colleges, technical schools, universities, specialty schools). Recipients have 15 months after completion of Grade 12 to claim the bursary. Contact rcs@courtenay.ca for more info.
