Starting Thursday, June 18, 5th Street from Fitzgerald Avenue to England Avenue will be closed to traffic from 3 pm to 8:30 pm for a monthly Downtown Courtenay Evening Market. The market will be open from 5 to 8 pm on the third Thursday of each month until September.

Participating groups have come toegether to bring local produce, artisans, artists, and performers:

• Comox Valley Farmer's Market
• Elevate the Arts
• Downtown Courtenay

The Downtown Courtenay Evening Market will be offered monthly on the following Thursdays:

• June 18
• July 16
• August 21
• September 17
