Temporary Courtenay Riverway Trail Closure

A section of the Courtenay Riverway trail will be closed for construction of the adjacent Riverside Senior Living Complex at the Westerly Hotel, resulting in detours around a section of the walkway.

Friday, February 16:
The trail will be closed in a section beside the 17^th Street Bridge on the north side as well as the Riverside Lane entrance. Please anticipate that the trail will be inaccessible around the construction area and use posted detours from 11^th Street to Cliffe Avenue or from 19^th Street to Cliffe Avenue (see map below).

Monday, February 19 to Wednesday, February 21:
The Riverway trail entrance at Riverside Lane (behind Rexall Drugstore) on the north side of the 17^th Street Bridge will be inaccessible. The trail itself will be open on these dates.
