Business Licence Renewal Reminder

City of Courtenay businesses, the deadline to renew your 2019 Business Licence is February 28, 2019. Starting March 1^st, a 25% late fee will be applied to your account, increasing to 50% on June 1^st.

Business licence renewal notices were mailed out in mid-November.

Businesses that haven’t received their 2019 renewal notice in the mail, or new businesses looking for a licence, please call the Development Services Department at 250-703-4835 or  email businesslicence@courtenay.ca

If you need make a change to your business licence at any time of the year, such as changing your business name, address, or owner, please submit an updated Business Licence Application and resubmit it to the City of Courtenay along with a fee of $20.00.
