Construction at Duncan Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets

On Monday, March 25, weather permitting, the City of Courtenay will begin removing and replacing the concrete laneway letdown and sidewalk at the laneway entrance on Duncan Avenue between 3^rd and 4^th Streets. This work is expected to take five days, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm daily, and is part of the preparations for laneway paving.

There will be noise generated by the crew and equipment during construction. We apologize for any inconvenience.

To permit adequate curing time for the concrete, and so vehicles can still have laneway access, there will be large metal plates in place over the part of concrete for around two weeks.
