Temporary Fitness Cancellations, Masks Now Required for Indoor Exercise
April 1, 2021
The Province of BC has issued new guidance for indoor exercise. Masks must now be worn at all times, including while exercising.
People who are unable to wear a mask due to a health condition or a physical, cognitive or mental impairment, and people who are unable to put on or remove a mask without the assistance of another person are exempt from mask requirements. Anyone unable to wear a mask must maintain at least 3 metres distance from other people at all times when in the facility.
Thank you for your cooperation as we adapt to these health and safety measures which are intended to keep you and others safe. For more information about Courtenay Recreation programs please visit www.courtenay.ca/rec
