Curbside Collection Service Updates due to Snow

ZONE 3: Emterra crews are working on collection this morning, Friday December 2, and are assessing the conditions as they go. If collection is cancelled or significantly delayed due to snow we will send out another service alert. Thank you.

 

ZONE 1: Collection was cancelled on Wednesday November 30.

• Zone 1 Garbage and yard waste: Next regular collection day will be Wednesday, December 7. If your collection was missed, an extra garbage can, or extra garbage bag(s) up to an extra 121 litres per residential dwelling, will be permitted in Zone 1 collection next week. No garbage tags required.
• Zone 1 Recycling: Next regular collection day will be Wednesday December 14.
  Understanding that not all residents would have enough bins to hold four weeks’ worth, any excess recycling can be placed in storage totes, laundry baskets or cardboard boxes, as long as each container is under 121 litres in volume and not a plastic bag.
