Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing (SSMUH)
The City is aligning regulations with new provincial legislation that is aimed at delivering more small-scale, multi-unit housing for people and to fix outdated zoning rules to help build more homes faster.

BC Housing: 925 Braidwood Road
BC Housing has purchased a three-acre property at 925 Braidwood Road in Courtenay for a proposed supportive housing development as well as a permanent, purpose-built shelter.

Plans are underway to eventually open an 11-acre green space along the Puntledge River.

Winter Program Registration
Registration for winter recreation programs (December 2024 to March 2025) opens Monday, November 18, at 7:15 a.m. Register online or in person at the Lewis and Filberg Centres. Check this link for a sneak peek of programs.
