Thank You Courtenay!

On behalf of the Centennial Committee, thank you Courtenay for a wonderful year of celebration to mark the 100th birthday of this place we call home. The stellar efforts of City staff, our business community sponsors and the many individuals and organizations who stepped up to participate helped to make it a very special year indeed.

Particular acknowledgement goes to former MP John Duncan and the Department of Canadian Heritage for the funding support, to the members of the Centennial Committee for their two plus years of commitment, and to the person without whom we could not have done it, now retired Community Services Manager Randy Wiwchar. What a great year! Let’s do it again in another hundred!
