2015 to 2019 Financial Plan

Council adopted the 2015-2019 Financial Plan on April 20, 2015, which included an overall 3.18% increase to property taxes.  The Commercial tax rate multiplier remains at 2.80 (or 2.80 x the residential tax rate).

What this means to the Taxpayer

The "average" 2015 residential property (class 1), valued at $277,681, will see an increase of $38.92 for the municipal taxation portion of your tax notice.

The "average" 2015 commercial property (class 6) valued at $690,544, will see an increase of $188.82 for the municipal taxation portion of your tax notice.
