Public Meetings or Hearings

Public Hearings are held in-person and virtually through Zoom and phone. They are also live-streamed on the City of Courtenay's YouTube channel.

Anyone who believes they are affected by a proposed bylaw shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard.

All written submissions must be received at least three hours before the public hearing (typically 1 p.m.) on the day of the hearing. Submissions should contain the writer's name and address, which will become part of the public record.
