Come celebrate the magic of the season at the annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 7, at the Florence Filberg Centre. 

Courtenay Recreation staff are as busy as Santa’s elves preparing for this year's Christmas party. The festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m., and are for children 9 years and under accompanied by an adult. 

A very special guest will be joining us from the North Pole! Please bring your own camera to get photos with Santa.

Other activities throughout the event include a Christmas sing-a-long, a special ukulele performance by the Evergreen Seniors, crafts, games and letter-making to Santa.

Party-goers can also check out the Gnarly Little Christmas Fair, which will be running 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the upstairs Conference Hall. Hosted by the LINC Youth Centre as part of their BC Youth Week celebrations, the annual craft far showcases talented youth aged 9-19 years. Over 60 vendors will be selling their wares this year, including baking, art, crafts, fibre arts, jewellery, woodwork and more.

Admission is free with a non-perishable donation to the food bank.
