Due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 emergency, the City of Courtenay has implemented changes to its open Council meetings.
In the interest of public health and safety, in-person attendance by members of the public at Council meetings will be prohibited until further notice. Council meetings will be presided over in-person by the Mayor or Acting Mayor with electronic participation by members of Council and staff.
Meetings are available for viewing via livestreaming. After the meeting, the pre-recorded meeting can be viewed from the link provided for each meeting date.

Courtenay City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, or Tuesdays following a statutory holiday. The Committee of the Whole meets the last Monday of each month.
