Home heating rebates
Rebates for home energy upgrades are offered by CleanBC, BC Hydro and Fortis BC. Use the CleanBC search tool to find rebates that you may qualify for.
Rebates are also offered by the Comox Valley Wood Smoke Reduction Program, which is run by the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD). Learn more here.
You can combine rebates to save thousands on energy upgrades or new heating systems.
Home Energy Navigator
The City of Courtenay has partnered with the CVRD to launch the Home Energy Navigator. This free program makes it easier for homeowners to complete energy upgrades and access rebates.
The program provides:
- Virtual energy consultations and reports
- One-on-one support from energy experts
- Help finding contractors
- Guidance on reviewing quotes and EnerGuide reports
- Custom rebate application guides
- Information on rebate amounts and eligibility
- Review of required documents
- Regular check-ins and ongoing support
