The National ParticipACTION Community Challenge is happening for the entire month of June, and Courtenay Recreation is encouraging everyone in Courtenay to get involved in the fun.
From 4:00 - 9:45 p.m. enjoy performances on the mainstage at Lewis Park including Indigenous and Multicultural, The Sean Grieve Committee and our headliner The Time Benders!
Celebrations start at 9 a.m. and go until 4:00 p.m. in downtown Courtenay and Lewis Park. The Parade is at 10 a.m. on 5th Street and activities in Lewis Park start at 11 a.m. WCC (West Coast Chicago) plays at 1 p.m.
Face painting, carnival games, contests, prizes, a cupcake walk and candy guesses are all part of this summer tradition for 12 years and under with adult. The carnival is in a brand new location this year upstairs at the Native Sons Hall!
